reLOAD tells me more than reVERT.
(CTRL-W for what...)
>So what shall we do about this?
Use CTRL-W for cycle windows. This is needed more often than close window.
"Close window" on CTRL-W is a no-no.
>I don't care which it is as long as everybody use the same thing.
This time Apple was wrong. BTW: What is all this "Apple did it, so it's
gotta be good" crap about anyway. Next thing you know you're goning to
want the Mac fiel system, or what?
>I will look at dividing the proposal into application specific topics.
Before you do that, can we please get done with the system wide standard.
I will refuse to accept anything that's APP-specific before we have the
systemwide standard done.

Anybody who's good enough to write a terminal software, will surely be
able to find an appropriate solution.
>- Current customers will complain if all/most shortcuts will be changed

They may complain, but I wouldn't accept this excuse from anybody. Tell
your users, that the new standard has the advantage, that they will find
the same shortcut for a function in every application, which makes their
system easier to use, than now. Example: User has two programs. One is
your's and uses ALT-Q for "Quit", while the other already uses CTRL-Q as
in the new standard. Simply tell the customer, that it's better for him if
you change your program to CTRL-Q, because now he will only have to
remember one shortcut instead of two.
If all fails, tell him, that you would run into severe problems, and you
would risk compatibility if you don't use the standard. And that wouldn't
even be a lie.

I'm not saying that, just because it goes for me. It's simply true in
general.
Bye-bye Mike
